The South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (SCMEP) is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1989. It was one of the first three centers established in the national Manufacturing Extension Partnership network, an affiliate program of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
SCMEP works with manufacturers across South Carolina to improve performance, quality, and competitiveness. SCMEP Online is the learning platform where that expertise is delivered — through individual courses, structured learning paths, and OpExChange, a peer network for operational excellence.
